Image & Beauty Tutorial: How to look your best on camera with lil to no time or energy. Press play to watch and master these easy techniques!
This look was designed with the unlimited woman in mind. Those who don’t have a lot of time and energy but want to look, feel, and be at their best on and off camera. Maximum impact with minimum effort!
No foundation or concealer was necessary because the goal was to go for polished NOT perfect.
A FEW WORDS OF SOUND ADVICE:
1. Spend a little extra time on skin care and prep to really look your best.
2. Make sure you’re blending in between each layer of product well.
3. Keep your color selection and tools you use to a minimum to avoid stress when you’re short on time and energy.
4. Choose an illuminator that’s a tiny bit darker than your own skin tone.
The illuminator I chose and linked above reflects my skin tone when it’s tan, so I didn’t use just any shade of illuminator to fake any kind of “glow”. For example, think of differences in colors and shades you’ll see in your skin during the summer VS during winter. This is the perfect warm look for summer and still gives what it’s posed to gave year round ;)
See the difference in the video and the adjacent photo for yourself! In the before I literally have nothing on, not even moisturizer. You can see unevenness, my dark circles, blemishes, and an overall look of tiredness. Ya girl be working lol.
However, on the left, everything has been evened out effortlessly. Allowing me to talk and teach on camera without lookin crazy lol. You don’t have to do the most to shine, just what’s best for you!

My Wardrobe Must Haves & On Camera Essentials:
This is NOT your typical guide to curating your wardrobe. Why? My belief is everything you buy needs to feel as good as your favorite robe or sweats. So, instead of preaching to you about what I feel is best for your face shape and body type, I’m telling you to only focus on 3 things in your wardrobe for work, play, and everyday: Great Fit, Great Form, & Great Function.
Every piece you own needs to hit in ALL 3 areas to make sure that you always look, feel, and sound incredible. Why sound too? Because the way you dress IS a language.
Bad fit, form, and function in clothing communicates you don’t care about you.
Not what we want to communicate when we’re building a powerful impact or community. People see us through our own eyes… so we want to show that we’re skilled and see ourself at our best.
Everything is an Experience.
When others get an impression of you, it communicates and becomes part of the experience, and “language” they will always associate with you.
Like conversation, your internal and external “language” helps people decide to connect with you Or to follow their instinct to leave after being repelled by you. Your behavior is a language that communicates.
It communicates through how you present yourself, including your wardrobe, on and off camera. Question is, is it saying what you want to say about you? Only you know if it’s not or doesn’t feel like you.
Want to communicate your value, with power, visually and verbally? Master the languages that keep you dressed for success. That starts with having fun again! Having fun trying and testing new things.
Experimenting to learn about your image, identity, and influence, in this new season, allows you to experience and express yourself in new ways.
Instead of trying to elevate everything, everywhere, all at once, start by updating the pieces you love in a better or tailored fit, more flattering colors, and high quality, long lasting fabrics.
Elevate your wardrobe easily with effortless, timeless, or glamorous matching sets, complimentary color palettes, and monochrome looks, to avoid overthinking.
When you’re working on and off camera, it’s important to look, sound, and feel your best. The goal is not to teach you to be perfect. It’s to train you to identify, qualify, and solidify your best version of well put together and polished.
For your glow up to help you powerfully show up and stick, it must represent your idea of comfort in life and style.
Now when you’re on camera though, things have to be elevated so it translates well polished. You need great coverage, complimentary colors, and dimension for your face, form, and features. Here you’ll find the basics, inside the Image, Identity, and Influence community, we go beyond basics so you shine brilliantly. There you’ll learn to show up, shine, and glow up.
I’m so excited to teach, train, and transform you into an unlimited, confident, and multifaceted woman. The one who always shows up, shares, and shines in any space she’s called to in life, love, or at any level of business unapologetically.
